The Labour India College of Teachers Education’s library program supports the educational goals of the College, and encourages the love of reading and learning. The members of the College community come to browse, read, study, and explore.
Our unified library catalog combines unique collections. These materials are carefully selected by our management and faculty members to support the trainees of the college as well as to promote pleasure reading for all ages.
Library staff work closely with classroom teachers to plan lessons and offer valuable instruction to all students, to help them use the library and all its facilities wisely. The program encourages curiosity and development of skills and judgment necessary for academic research and for life in an information-rich world. Our goal is for students of all ages to become competent, independent learners, comfortable with diverse views and able to explore new ideas effectively.
At Labour India college of teachers education, we believe that Information Technology is an essential aspect of education in today’s world of interconnectivity. We have designed projects and assignments to help the trainees use technology as a tool for learning and research in diverse disciplines such as history, geography, science, computer programming etc.
We have full-fledged computer laboratories at the campus. There are also computers available for student use in our library. We have digital projectors, screens and sound systems to enable teachers to take full advantage of the enormous range of teaching resources on our network.
Our new Language lab, Tennis court, Adventure obstacle course, 400 mtr Athletic track and swimming pool are nearing completion and will soon be open to students and teachers.

George Kulangara the founder of this institution, Education is the birth-right of every child who is born with immence potentialities. Labour India Public School & Junior College was founded by Mr. V. J. George Kulangara on 4th June 1993 in Marangattupilly, Kottayam Dt, Kerala, South India. His Guru (Teacher), the late Prof. K. M. Chandy, former Governor of Madhya Pradesh, India, inaugurated the school. ( www.gurukulam.com )

LICTE is offering B.Ed with intake 50 student Courses are affiliated to NCTE[ National Council for Teacher Education , A statutory Body of the Government of India] Southern Regional Committee, Bangalore. The syllabi at the College are as per the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE). The textbooks are those prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (N.C.E.R.T). ‘English’ is the medium of instruction.
